This is the second of a two part panel discussion on the current environmental state of the lake’s flora and fauna.
The panel will discuss the plight of the tuna and other indigenous fish and the impact of introduced species into Wairarapa Moana.

Panel:
Alton Perrie is a freshwater scientist employed by Greater Wellington Regional Council. He has had a life long interest in New Zealand's freshwater ecology and in particular native fish.

Joseph Potangaroa is a local cultural historian with a special interest in mana whenua interactions with the natural world and in particular the applicabililty of traditional Maori values in contemporary times. One of his main interests are tuna/eels.
