In association with Papauma hapu, Aratoi presented the Te Hika a Papauma ki Wairarapa Taonga Collection at QE2 Park this Waitangi day.
The items on display are some of the Taonga which have been purchased and are held in Trust at Aratoi. The Kotiate made of whalebone(Patu Paraoa ), commemorates the drowning of Hamuera Potangaroa at Aohanga on the 1st of January in 1913.
