CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

ELIGIBLE WORK:  An original art work in any medium, not previously exhibited in the Wairarapa. The work must have been completed in the past two years by an artist living in the Wairarapa.

ENTRIES:  One work per artist may be submitted. (Small sets of up to three related works – diptych, triptych - are acceptable).  Work must be for sale. A 35% commission will be deducted from the retail price.      

ACCEPTANCE: All entries will be subject to selection. Artists will be notified by phone or email whether or not they have been selected for the Aratoi exhibition. The selector’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.    

PRESENTATION: 2D Work must be presented ready for display e.g. matted and/or framed where appropriate; cords and D-rings or cleats supplied etc. The gallery will supply plinths for 3D work if required.

FREIGHT: It is the responsibility of the artist to pack the work securely (in a way that it can be repacked by gallery staff), pay the freight, and to insure work when in transit both ways.

All work must be delivered by 4.30pm Sunday 6th December 2015.
The gallery is open between 10am – 4.30pm daily.

OPENING: The exhibition will open on Friday 11th December at 6pm. All who have submitted work are invited to attend the opening whether or not their work is selected (there will not be time to send out invitations after  selection). Prizewinners will be announced at the opening, except for the People’s Choice Award, which will be announced after the exhibition closes.
