Wairarapa Museum of Art and History
Aratoi in partnership with local iwi Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa is developing a large-scale exhibition redressing the long and rich history of the Wairarapa region and involving major loans of taonga from national and international private and public collections.
The exhibition title has a conceptual depth and a strong historical link to Kahungunu's repudiation of the Crowns land purchases taken under duress, the exhibition is as much about the future as the past and is more about harmony than conflict.
