Knobkerrie, African club with a long shaft and oval head at one end.  The shaft is partially wrapped with a copper strip.

A long handled club headed weapon formed from root stock partially worked into a sphere. Shaft is without a pommel but is sheathed in two places with copper wire mesh. Has a label with 'Zulu Club' attached to it.

A long curved tapering crop formed on a wooden shaft (probably a tree branch) surmounted with a sphere. The core woodwork is then covered top to bottom with woven copper wire mesh.

Long riding crop or whip. From Africa.  Tapering leather with four bands of decorative copper wire work and a leather wrist band.  It has hardened into a hook shape.

Axe, Africa,19th Century, wood, metal (iron)

Axe with triangular tanged iron blade. Wooden haft decorated with parallel rows of shallow drill holes. End of haft stained black.
