‘A Ruamahanga River journey’ a talk by Gareth Winter.

Twenty years ago, local historian and writer Gareth Winter had the idea of exploring the Ruamahanga River from its source. Now he is planning a book on the Ruamahanga, with each section (defined by the bridges) concentrating on a different aspect of the river and our impact on it as it flows through the valley. Gareth will share with us an outline his ambitious project.
