NZ Taxi Drivers Tell their Stories

A community listening experience, featuring the stories of two NZ taxi drivers - Helmi al Kattat originally from Iraq, and Sukhdev Singh Bains from Punjab - recorded by Arrow FM and also included in 'Migrant Journeys' (Bridget Williams Books). The two drivers look back on their often turbulent lives and their life here in Aotearoa.

Also featuring Adrienne Jansen, editor of More of Us (Landing Press), an anthology of poetry by 46 writers, from 29 countries, who have come to NZ as migrants or refugees. Presented by Arrow FM, with the support of The Office of Ethnic Communities, Masterton Mayor Lyn Patterson, Trust House, Nectarine NZ, Noise Productions, and Aratoi.
