The Rouseabouts - world famous in New Zealand! Featured on Country Calendar, this energetic foursome are all about tall tales, music, shanties and poems. Wowing audiences with their banter and story telling, The Rouseabouts present an eclectic show founded on great story telling traditions.

Made up of author and poet Tim Saunders (This Farming Life, Allen & Unwin), musician Paul Turner (Coel Manawatu & Wild Geese), poet Chris Gallavin (A Dance Together, Prow Publishing) and featuring special guest musician Brendan Connor from Wild Geese, this group is not to be missed!
Working from a catalogue of hundreds of original and well- known poems, award winning Celtic music from the catalogue of Tui Award Winning Wild Geese and Coel Manawatu, these four raconteurs will have you laughing, crying and tapping your feet- you might even be roped into a shanty or two!
