In this workshop you will learn about the basics of caring for taonga (your treasured items).
Topics covered include, how package and store different kinds of materials, where to find online guides and resources, who to contact for specialist advice and support, pragmatic and simple solutions to storing your taonga and where to source affordable materials.
There will also be a hands-on exercise where you make your own cradled storage container to take home.
You will also go behind the scenes in the Aratoi Collection Store to see how Aratoi cares for their collection.
