Bridget Reweti - What are you looking at?

What are you looking at? is an exploration of photographic techniques and outdoor adventures within the iconic New Zealand landscape. Reweti has constructed a three-sided camera obscura tent, a literal darkened chamber which she takes on hikes, as an investigation into the divide between nature and culture within New Zealand’s Conservation Estate. The exhibition constitutes as Reweti's Masters show and presents a series of photographs, films and hand-coloured posters.

Bridget Reweti is of Ngāti Ranginui and Ngai Te Rangi decent and is currently completing a Master of Māori Visual Arts Degree at Massey University, Palmerston North.
