According to the Mayan calendar the 21st December 2012 marks the end of a great 5125 year cycle of time. The Maya themselves see this date as the beginning of a New Era, and one worth celebrating.
Maya 2012: Portals of Infinity is a collection of digital montages and acrylic paintings to celebrate the passage from one great age to another, as well as a metaphor for the passage from an outer profane space to an inner sacred space.
