Since 1999, the biennial Wings Over Wairarapa air show has been held at Masterton’s Hood Aerodrome. Featuring an extravaganza of aerial action over three days, Wings over Wairarapa showcases 70 aircraft including vintage, military, jets, helicopters and aerobatic displays and has become a significant event for the Wairarapa.
